What Does it Mean to Start Over?

Starting over isn't necessarily beginning from nothing. It's deciding that the role you've been playing no longer fits.

Maybe you've spent years being the dependable one.

The fixer.

The good daughter.

The responsible employee.

The person who keeps everyone else’s storyline moving.

And eventually you look around and realize:

Wait. When did I become a supporting character in my own life?

Maybe starting over isn't about becoming someone new.

You don't have to burn down the entire set. You don't have to delete every character. You don't have to erase your origin story.

You can change the narrative.

You can step into your character arc.

You can stop accepting the role someone else wrote for you.

Maybe it's about becoming the author.

Stop waiting for someone to hand you the script.

Write it.
